Meals and lodging
We do understand the cost may be a barrier for some - in these cases, we have a Subsidy Application Form.
Please note that if a camper requires a personal staff assigned to them for the duration of the session, this will incur an additional fee.
It is important that our fees stay as low as possible so that no campers miss the opportunity to participate in this summer experience. Donations and fundraising activities are essential to maintaining reasonable fees and minimizing increases to fees. We run a number of fundraising ventures each year. Check out Ways to Give to keep updated on how you, your family and friends can help out.

Camp Misquah spans the shoreline of Lac Bitobi, and is lucky to have a large acreage with a long shoreline, large grassy fields, and lush woods. Campers experience the best of all worlds during their nightly walks, during activity time and especially during beach afternoon!
All campers and staff live in cabins that have electricity and comfortable bunk beds. Each room houses 6-10 campers, and the shared space makes learning how to live, share and co-operate with others part of the day-to-day experience. Counsellors share the adjacent space, ensuring constant supervision.
Even though getting dirty is part of the fun at camp, Misquah is fully equipped with modern and wheelchair-accessible showers and laundry facilities, all thanks to recent fundraising efforts. A path connects all cabins to the washroom buildings.
Lots of room for fun and games - there is a sports pad for basketball, a soccer field for soccer and a cabin for crafts. For chill moments, there are swing sets throughout the site. The dining hall that seats 100 people comfortably for dinner also fits 100 people comfortably for dance parties!
Misquah’s dining hall seats 100 people comfortably with a modern kitchen. The Head Cook works alongside two other cooks to prepare 3 meals a day with snacks. Campers’ and staff’s dietary restrictions are carefully accommodated. The highlight of the session is a formal banquet on the final night where a special meal is created, and campers receive awards.
At Camp Misquah, safety is our first priority. Qualified medical providers are onsite and available 24 hours a day to administer expert medical treatment and daily medications. A nurse practitioner and family physician are on-call for consultation, while the Maniwaki hospital is 30 minutes away in cases of emergencies.
For your convenience, deluxe coaches are provided to and from Camp Misquah and are included in the cost of camp fees. The drive is approximately 90 minutes.
